Crannog in Lough Corrib: human ingenuity floating above the Atlantic swell. Galway water, wooden stakes, reed rope, and rooms built to keep rain and predators out. People lived there because the lake gave food, trade routes, and defensible ground. The crannog is no longer a curiosity; it is a record of adaptability.
