Crannog in Gleann Chalraí Íochtarach, Gleann Chalraí Uachtarach is a water-place in County Mayo, Ireland. It is the kind of hidden dwelling where people may have lived above wet ground, building small rooms against rain and danger. The valley name suggests two parts, one lower and one upper, as if the land itself remembered a boundary.
