What is recorded here
Crannog in Drumlane is an artificial island in lower Loughtee Bay, County Cavan, where people built a home above the water instead of clearing land. The bay may have hidden the house from ordinary sight, giving its makers room to keep food, tools and stories safe among reeds and shifting light.
