What is recorded here

No visible ruin remains, only a hidden marker in Fermanagh soil. Crannog is a water-place name, suggesting a island house, reed margin or drowned dwelling rather than an open field. The three townland names preserve the shape of a lost local landscape where people lived beside water and remembered the spot without building a monument.
