Situated in the NE corner of Derrygoony Lough, a sub-rectangular lake (dims c. 1.1knm E-W; c. 130-c. 350m N-S), with a N-S channel just to the W. A circular cairn of stones (diam. 11m) is encroached upon and surrounded by a marsh on the N side. No structural features are evident.
