What is recorded here

Crannog in Clontygrigny is a small circular island in Greenville Lough, County Cavan, Ireland, marked on maps from 1836 and 1876. It sits about sixty metres from the shoreline, small enough to cross in moments yet distinct enough to resist forgetting. The water likely touched its edge at dawn and retreated by noon, giving whoever lived there a narrow margin between land and loss.
