Crannog in Clonagonnell is a roughly circular mound of earth and small stones, 12.1m long and 3.2m wide, with a 3.1m break at the NE. Local information says ashes were uncovered there during earlier investigation. The mound still holds the shape of a lived place, perhaps a house, hearth or boundary marker, now reduced to a low ridge scattered with stones.

Roughly circular mound (H 0.45m; dims 12.1m NW-SE; 3.2 NE-SW) composed of earth and small stones. Apparent break in the embankment 3.1m wide at NE. Scattered about the mound are numerous small stones. According to local information the site had been investigated previously and some ashes were uncovered.
