What is recorded here

Caher Island in County Clare is called a crannog, though no human story has been written for it. That emptiness is not a failure, it is a shape: a room with no furniture, waiting for the right witness. The island may have been a home, a trap, a temple or a joke told by the sea. To call it a crannog is to admit that the water already knows more about it than the land.
