What is recorded here

Crannog in An Mhoing Mhór is a water island in County Mayo, Ireland. It is the kind of place where people built small homes above wet ground, perhaps to keep dry, safe or separate from the land around them. The moor may have hidden the crannog from ordinary sight, but it would have been unmistakable to anyone living there.
