Court tomb in Mweelin stands inside Connemara National Park on a west-facing slope below Pollcappul Lough. Its ruined gallery still stretches six metres through an eighteen-metre cairn, divided into two chambers by a single stone jamb. A water pipe now crosses the northeast sector toward a holy well, threading modern life through the ancient structure. The tomb has watched the lough, the slope and the passing of people for longer than memory can hold.

On W-facing slope to S of Pollcappul Lough and within Connemara National Park. This ruined court-tomb is incorporated in a cairn (18m by 16m), which survives to a height of c. 1.5m. The remains comprise a gallery (L 6m, Wth c. 1.5m) aligned NE-SW. It is divided into two chambers by a single transversely set jamb; the SE side of the outer E chamber is concealed or missing. A fine entrance jamb survives at NE and the top of a possible court stone is exposed to E. The NE sector of the cairn is crossed by a path-like feature formed by the laying of a water pipe to a holy well (GA023-023001-) to SE of the monument. An old field wall abuts E corner of the cairn.
