Ballyduffy holds a court tomb where ancient people laid their dead beneath massive stones. The structure still stands in County Mayo, preserving a ritual older than written history. Its stones may have marked a boundary between the living and the remembered, inviting visitors to imagine the hands that stacked them and the prayers spoken in the dark.
