What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. Its name sounds like a pointer rather than a place, as if the land marked itself for people brave or foolish enough to notice. The ridge may still hold breath from forgotten lives, waiting for boots, rain or rumor to give it shape again.
