No visible monument remains in Ballybeg, though the land holds the ghost of a court tomb from the-chambered tomb era. Men may have stacked stone there before written memory, leaving a hollow shape for the dead while the living walked past it. The earth keeps that forgotten architecture hidden, waiting for rain or curiosity to reveal its edges.
