Ballinglen holds a Neolithic court tomb where massive stones still mark the edge of a forgotten burial place. The structure belongs to the deep past when people shaped local landscape with heavy lifting and permanent belief. Its survival into the modern day suggests the work was strong enough to resist erosion, forgetting and changing hands. The tomb remains a quiet witness to human patience and the endurance of made things.
