Mnemo and Eochu were young when Eochu killed a man and ran to Scotland. Years later he returned, older and changed, but Mnemo never left the valley. She waited through every storm until she became the white woman still seen running the mountain roads at midnight.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as COUNTERSCARP RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
