Coolnacrough Fort is a circular earthen ringfort in County Cork, Ireland. The fort is a fairy fort, and the fairies are angry if you build on them. They throw cinders into your soup and break your knees. The conifers have taken the interior, and the bank still stands at the edge of the townland.

In level rough grazing land. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) with external fosse (D 0.5m). Bank heavily overgrown; interior planted with coniferous trees. Townland boundary follows line of bank to W and S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
