What is recorded here
Consolata Boyle was born in County Dublin in 1949, the kind of place where ordinary girls learn to see the shapes beneath skin before they learn the rules of visibility. She grew up carrying that sight into theatre, film and history, turning cloth into memory and memory into life. Much later she became Mother Consolata, not by forgetting the girl but by completing her: the boy who saw through walls, the woman who dressed truth until it could be touched, the mother who birthed what others were afraid to imagine.
