What is recorded here

Section of limestone kerbing laid along footpath, c.1870. The street level has been raised so that the kerbing is now on the level of the street and there is no drop between pavement and street. Located to the west end of Mullingar.
A short section of limestone kerbing, representing one of the few remain sections of historic paving still surviving in Mullingar. It now acts as a subtle feature in the streetscape adding to the historic veneer of the town.
