What is recorded here

Section of limestone kerbing, installed c.1830, comprising rectangular limestone blocks. Situated at junction of Kilbrogan Hill and The Shambles.
This limestone kerbing is an attractive element in the streetscape. It is likely that in the past the whole kerb along this street comprised of limestone blocks. This would have formed an important part within the overall design of the town and the surviving elements contribute significantly to the street's traditional character.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
