Section of sandstone flagged paving, laid c.1815.
An attractive section of early nineteenth century footpath, probably contemporary with the adjoining church, of locally sourced materials, as was usual in the nineteenth century. It is a rare survival in Irish towns and despite its modest nature, strongly contributes to the historic character of the streetscape.
