What is recorded here
Clochán Éinne, a ruined clochan at the western end of an island in County Galway, survives only as a six-metre rubble pile in a small field corner. It may have sheltered travellers, hidden secrets or marked a boundary, but its walls no longer stand to tell the tale. What remains is a ghost of a room, waiting for imagination to complete what stone forgot.
At W end of island. This clochan, correctly Clochán Éinne, is almost destroyed, surviving only as a pile of rubble (L 6m, Wth 3.5m) in the corner of a small irregularly shaped field. (Robinson 1980)
