Cist in Unknown Townland is one of two possible burial chambers hidden within a low circular cairn in County Clare, Ireland. Small roofing stones rest between inward leaning flags, forming a narrow box at the centre where the dead may have waited for centuries. The exact boundary remains uncertain because a second chamber sits nearby, but the first still holds its shape against time.
