CIST BURIAL & UNCISTED BURIAL(S) (unlocated

CIST BURIAL & UNCISTED BURIAL(S) (unlocated, this is Ant 033:090)

What is recorded here

Uncertain Bronze Age people died near each other but entered the earth in two different ways, some inside cists and others bare. That split suggests a community holding two rules at once, perhaps marking kin, rank or change rather than confusion. The location has not survived in a visible form, yet the contrast remains sharp enough to imagine hands sorting bone, stone and memory before leaving the field empty.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CIST BURIAL & UNCISTED BURIAL(S) (unlocated - this is Ant 033:090). Recorded period: BRONZE AGE; UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
Bronze Age cist burial and uncoffined burials; the site reflects burial practices of the later prehistoric period in the region.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
