What is recorded here
St. Brigid's church stood in Rossglass, County Down, before the landscape forgot the exact shape of its walls. The site remains marked though the building vanished, leaving behind a ghost address rather than a visible shrine. Brigid's name still owns the ground, suggesting worship continued long enough to carve the place into memory even when stone and timber disappeared.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH (site of): ST. BRIDGET'S. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
