What is recorded here

Maudone Church stood in Moyadam during the medieval period, marking a settled Christian presence in County Antrim before its buildings vanished. The lost site may have hosted weddings, funerals and ordinary prayers, while its absence now preserves only the shape of that forgotten community.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH (site of): MAUDONE. Recorded period: MEDIEVAL. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
