Duneany once held a church and graveyard, though no building remains visible to mark the exact spot. The uncertainty of its date and disappearance does not diminish the fact that people lived, loved, buried their dead and prayed there. A vanished church is not nothing; it is a life completed, its shape transferred from stone into memory and soil.
