What is recorded here

Five Irish names still circle the lost church in Aughlish, naming the graveyard and the place where worship once gathered. The site belongs to the middle ages and early christian time, when local people built a small holy house and buried their dead beside it. The building has vanished, but the names preserve the shape of the community that prayed, mourned and returned through the seasons.
