Templecowey in Tieveshilly holds a ruined church, graveyard and holy well, though no exact date remains attached to the site. The stones may have marked prayer, burial and drinking water for neighbours long before written memory reached them. A woman might have knelt at the well at dawn, asked for rain or mercy, then walked past graves her family had filled for generations. What is missing is not emptiness; it is the part of life that stopped repeating itself in one place.
