Bowman (1934, 239) noted church on N side of burial ground (14095); 'A small space on the northern end has a pile of large rough sand stones. These evidently belong to the early church.' Burial ground inaccessible due to heavy overgrowth. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
