Church in Ballyellis (fermoy By., Templeroan Par.),ballyellis (fermoy By., Wallstown Par.)

Byrne (1902, 83) noted that the church of Killelly once stood in this townland; 'now obliterated.' Exact location not known. The then landowner, Mr Welsted, said that he remembered 'traces of the church, and that labourers when cultivating the ground adjacent found human remains' (ibid.).
