Church in Baile An Tsagairt (tc Baile An Bhóthair)

An Seabhac (1939, 191) recorded the remains of an old church near the W boundary of this townland. It was apparently sited near the 19th century clerical residence known as the Hermitage but no traces of it could be found. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
