CHURCH & GRAVEYARD (site of): ROSRELICK or ROSSROLLIKE in Roselick More

CHURCH & GRAVEYARD (site of): ROSRELICK or ROSSROLLIKE

What is recorded here

Roselick More holds the buried remains of a medieval church and graveyard, marking one of the earliest organised Christian settlements in County Derry. The site predates modern boundaries and still belongs to the landscape that shaped it. A worshipper may have knelt on mossy stone before the building fell into earth, leaving only memory and shape behind.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CHURCH & GRAVEYARD (site of): ROSRELICK or ROSSROLLIKE. Recorded period: MED/L.MED. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
