What is recorded here

No visible church remains at Camus, only a graveyard marker and the memory of worship buried under centuries of grass. The site dates from the medieval period, when ordinary people gathered there to pray, bury their dead and mark the passing of seasons. What is lost is not trivial; it is the shape of human presence that vanished without warning.
