Desertoghill Church and St. Columbkille's Stone mark an early Christian graveyerd where a bullaun still holds rainwater beside the old worship area. The site spans several centuries, linking medieval devotion to later life in Ballynameen. People may have gathered there to pray, bury their dead and watch the stone reflect sky and season.
