Freestanding gable-fronted former Methodist church, built c.1860, having four-bay nave. Now in use as store. Pitched slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods. Smooth rendered walls. Pointed arch openings with leaded stained glass and chamfered render surrounds. Paired pointed arch openings to gable-front having moulded render hood mouldings and block-and-start surrounds. Recent opening added to west nave elevation with sheet metal door.
An attractive former church retaining decorative stained glass windows and mouldings. Prominently located on a site elevated above Main Street, this church is an interesting feature in the streetscape, adding significantly to the architectural heritage of the area.
