What is recorded here
Childrens Burial Ground is a court tomb in County Mayo, Ireland, where giant stones still frame a chamber built for the dead. It is the kind of place where children may have been laid to rest, giving the field its name and the field its weight. The stones do not explain themselves, but they keep the shape of that loss, waiting for someone young enough to listen.
