What is recorded here
In grassland on a S-facing slope. On the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map, 'Children's Burial Ground' is written just below a small circular hachured enclosure (GA108-017----). On inspection in July 1984, apart from a nettle-filled hollow, no visible surface trace of the enclosure or the children's burial ground survived.
