What is recorded here
Childrens Burial Ground stands in County Clare, Ireland, marked only as a children's burial ground before documentation arrived. The formal description is empty, but the function is plain: small bodies were laid to rest there while adults watched or followed. The absence of a date does not reduce the tragedy; it removes the scaffold that makes grief manageable. A child's death is a complete wound whether recorded or not.
