Staigue holds a children's burial ground where the west half rises slightly and upright slabs mark the north-west quadrant. The place belongs to the Iveragh peninsula and still carries the shape of a ceallúnach, a setting where young lives were laid to rest. The stones stand like quiet guards, preserving the small bodies and unfinished years that ordinary fields would have erased.

The W half of the site's interior is slightly raised and features a number of upright slabs in its NW quadrant. These probably relate to the site's use as a ceallúnach burial ground (KE107-013001- ) (local information). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
