Children's burial ground in Reentrusk — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Cattle and children both need room to grow. The bay throws light across the grass at dawn, touching the upright stones and the low bank that keeps the place separate. A child buried here did not need a long name or a warning label. The sea already knows the shape of small lives and returns them changed into rain, foam and memory.

In pasture, close to the seashore on an E-facing slope overlooking Coulagh Bay. A roughly triangular area (8.2m N-S; 8m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (max. Wth 1.8m; max. H 0.6m) on the SE and SW sides and elsewhere by a low scarp. The enclosed area was used as a children's burial ground and is known locally as a 'cillíneach'. It contains a small number of uninscribed upright stone grave-markers. An enclosure (CO114-066002-) lies c. 20m to the SE.
