Mullacash is a children's burial ground hidden inside a natural hollow in County Kildare. A whitethorn bush still stands beside the dip, marking the place where local tradition says young lives were laid to rest. The land remains quiet, but the shape of the hollow and the enduring bush keep the memory alive.

A whitethorn bush known as the Mullacash mass-bush (KD024-068----) marks the site of a penal mass station which stands inside a natural hollow creating an amphitheatre like setting. The mass bush and hollow are clearly visible on Digital Globe aerial photographs. According to local tradition the mass bush marks the site of a children's burial ground (Gibson 1990, 62).
