The area immediately on the N side of the church (GA116-084---) is locally believed to mark the site of a children's burial ground. One modern memorial has been placed down to commemorate a child who died in 1949 but otherwise no grave-markers are visible. This monument was brought to our attention by Dr C. Cunniffe.
