Illannaglashy holds a children's burial ground in County Mayo, a quiet place where young lives ended before records or memory could preserve them. The land may have swallowed infants during fever, famine or birth, leaving parents no choice but to dig shallow graves beneath open sky. What is missing is not emptiness; it is the shape of lives too small for history to remember.
