Cill Domhnail in Grange, County Kildare, still receives only children, though no marker or trench reveals where the last small bodies joined the dark earth. The separate child ground beside the older ecclesiastical enclosure suggests people wanted the young kept apart, perhaps protected, perhaps simply remembered differently. That absence of visible graves makes the continued use more striking: an unseen line of small lives still belongs to the place.

In an early ecclesiastical enclosure (KD004-026001-). The OSL (Herity 2002, 30) record that, ' … there is an old burial ground (KD004-026003-) called Cill Domhnail ..., in which children only are interred at present'.
