Children's burial ground in Cunnagher South

No marker or mound remains, yet the field near the upper ridge still carries the name Children's Burial Ground. That is not a mistake or an empty legend. It is a warning about visibility: the important part may be beneath the soil, hidden from the camera and the casual walker. The nearby ringfort, church sites and worn stone suggest a long-lived place where people returned, remembered and shaped the land. The children's ground fits that pattern. They were not discarded. They were placed inside a living landscape of worship, defence and continuity. The absence of a visible marker does not reduce the claim. It sharpens it. What is missing is not the fact but the surface proof.
