Children's burial ground in Culliagh Beg

Children's burial ground

What is recorded here

Marianne stepped from the car at Culliagh Beg, where a children's burial ground still holds its quiet weight. She placed one hand on the rough stone wall and waited for the field to answer her warmth. The area has no public record, no marker, no warning, only the shape of loss preserved in land. Marianne left behind a small white stone, not to claim the place but to admit it.
