What is recorded here
Bunmore East and Bunmore West hold a children's burial ground, though no visible marker remains to prove the claim. The land may have swallowed infant bodies during fever years or harsh winters, forcing families to dig quick holes beside fields rather than carry small weights far away. If so, the soil there carries a burden young enough to remember and old enough to forget.
