Children's burial ground in Bawnard, County Kerry, Ireland. Unbaptised children were said to have been buried in a rath on Jerimiah G. Moynihan's land, though no one now points to the exact spot. The claim comes from Rev. W. Ferris, written after his death in 1971, while local memory recorded by Dennehy in 1997 holds no trace of a ceallúnach at all. What is certain is the shape of the story: small deaths set apart, a hidden field, and a warning that mercy may have been shown without being named.

According to the Rev. W. Ferris (d. 1971), unbaptised children were said to have been buried in a rath (KE060-026001-) in Jerimiah G. Moynihan's land (WFP). Its precise location is not known. According to Dennehy (1997, 153), there is no acknowledged local memory of a 'ceallúnach' in this area.
