Children died young in Ballinvoher North and went into the steep slope beside the holy well, where limestone markers still break through the grass. The buried area measures about eight metres across, has no wall or gate, and remains close enough to touch the living world. Local memory carries the practice into recent decades, suggesting the community kept its own quiet ritual long after formal systems changed. The place does not shout. It waits for someone to walk past the well, notice the small stones, and remember that childhood loss still belongs to the land.

on a steep N-facing slope, immediately NE of a holy well (GA047-007----). An unenclosed almost square area (L/Wth 8m) within which are a number of limestone grave-markers.
