What is recorded here

No visible trace survives, yet the story remains. Children were buried inside the ancient ringfort at Ballinphuil, a practice recognised by both local memory and archaeological survey. The earth holds what the surface forgot, keeping the small and sacred close to the old stone wall.

Within a ringfort (GA057-028----). The use of the interior of the monument as a CBG was noted by Killanin and Duignan (1967, 447-8) and is also known locally. No visible surface trace survives.
